Dear son of the late Francis and Bridget Jordan and brother of Margaret Cosgrove of Dorchester, Robert Jordan of Hanover, Walter Jordan of Braintree and the late John Jordan and Mary Hartley. Loving grandfather of Brian F. and Megan J. Lenihan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives in the US and Ireland. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Tuesday, March 11 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bernard's Church, West Newton at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. Retired 32 year veteran of the Newton Fire Department, and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Post 440 and the Newton Elks.
