Dearest Kevin, Jessica, Olivia, Jen and family:
My heart is so heavy and broken for all of you. I was blessed to meet Kim several years ago as I work for one of her doctors. We clicked right away, and outside of taking care of her in the office, we developed a wonderful friendship. Several times, we ran into each other outside of the office, and I was with my daughters and you were with your mom. You were everything she said you were and more. We shared many stories about our love for the ocean, life, family....I admired her strength from day one. She never once complained anytime I saw her. We always greeted each other with a really big hug and I told her I was praying for her everyday. Kim's face lit up each time we spoke and especially when she talked about the love of her life, her husband Kevin and best friend. She treasured you and loved you unconditionally. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband loving your beautiful wife. I cannot even describe how much she glowed when she talked about her three loving daughters that she adored and loved more than life!! We shared many stories about your family trips, school days, college searches and acceptance. Having three daughters of my own, we had a lot in common. She was more than proud of each one of you, and loved you ever so deeply. The love she had for each one of you was the most obvious and unconditional love I ever heard someone talk about. Kim was a beautiful lady, with a heart of gold. Her voice ever so sweet and understanding, so loyal and dedicated. She could brighten any room she entered. She certainly brightened my life. I spoke with her last week and I am so glad I did. Thank you Kevin, Jessica, Olivia and Jennifer for your wonderful wife and mom...she truly loved you all more than life and is with you forever. Kim is forever proud of each one of you, and will always be your guardian angel. I am a better person for having a friend like Kim in my life. I will miss you my friend and all our hugs and conversations. You truly fought a tough battle and never gave up...Such an inspiration to all of us. Rest in peace sweetie and watch over your family. Love you forever. xo Maria
