Helen T. Galvin, of Newton, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late James P. Galvin. Loving mother of Betty and Jack Sampson of Lakeville, Peggy and the late Jerry Flaherty of Walpole and Susan and Bennie Ottaviani of Framingham. Also survived by grandchildren Benny and Chris Ottaviani as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 14 at 10:30AM in the Sacred Heart Parish, 1321 Centre St. Newton followed by interment in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline. Visiting hour will be held immediately prior to the Mass from 9-10AM in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St. Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at www.Koman.org
