Alex Andrew Bohm, known to all as Andrew, a beloved professor at the Tufts University School of Medicine, suddenly passed away on August 28, 2023. He was born in 1965 in New York City to parents Susan and Alex Bohm and received his PhD from UC Berkeley, where he met his wife, Celia Harrison. The two had been married since 1996 and lived in Boston for over 25 years.
Andrew was an avid reader, cyclist, and sailor, and he loved to build and fix things himself whenever he could. His contributions to Tufts as a researcher, professor, advisor, colleague, and friend to everyone were immeasurable (read here

He leaves behind his wife Celia, his grown children Remy and Gil Bohm, his mother Susan Bohm and his siblings Matt Bohm, Monica Morrison, and Cliff Bohm, and many other family members, friends, and colleagues who cherished him. If you want to make a gift in Andrew’s memory to the Fund for Tufts Medicine Scholarship; please note the gift is in his memory on the memo line.
