Obituary for Richard H. "Dick" Peterson
Richard H. “Dick” Peterson 74, of Wellesley, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023.
Dick leaves behind his loving family and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Myrbel Peterson, and sister Pamela Euerle.
Dick honorably served as a Wellesley Police Officer for over 15 yrs.
After retirement, he held a position as security supervisor at the Wellesley College Davis Museum. Dick’s dog Fetch, his loyal companion, often accompanied him to the museum, to the enjoyment of staff and students.
Dick was a kind and caring individual with a funny sense of humor. He was also an avid Boston sports fan and R&R music fan, especially Eric Clapton.
Dick lived a full life, and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Visiting hours will be on July 11th from 4:00 –7:00 PM at the Henry J Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St. Wellesley Hills, Ma.
Burial will be private.
