Obituary for Daniel Fasolino
Daniel Fasolino, 61, of Uxbridge MA, passed away on April 27, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 25, 1961 in Wellesley MA to Ludwig and Marie Fasolino. Dan attended Wellesley Public Schools and graduated from Wellesley High in 1980. He went on to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.
Dan was an athletic and adventurous young man. He was a skilled skier and surfer. Following high school, he worked at New Hampshire ski resorts and as a carpenter on Nantucket Island. As he grew older, he worked in the field of architecture in Boston, MA and Mesa, AZ.
Dan was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and hiking. He was a talented artist, and a fabulous cook. Dan always had a positive attitude, no matter the situation; he faced the challenge of living with chronic kidney disease with courage.
Dan is survived by his mother Marie Fasolino of Wellesley. MA and 2 sisters; Ellen Mace (Donald) of Mashpee MA and Catherine Hamlin (Gordon) of Cavendish VT. He also leaves behind 2 nephews; Michael Mace of Charlton MA and Andrew Mace, and a niece Madeline Mace, a student at UMass Amherst. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5th at 12:00 pm in the Henry J Burke Funeral Home, 56 Washington Street, Wellesley MA. Visiting hours will be held immediately prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00.
