Obituary for Daniel Alden Brosseau

Daniel Alden Brosseau – died peacefully on August 4th 2021, aged 23.

Our dear Dan leaves his loving parents, Andrew and Heather Brosseau, recently of Wellesley, MA, and a wonderful sister, Julia Brosseau, of Santa Monica, CA. He is also survived by his grandparents, Dianne T. Roberts of Hingham, MA and Alden and Elaine Brosseau of Sonoma, CA.

Dan was a creative and kind-hearted soul who also had a crazy sense of humor and an infectious smile. His love of videography lead him to earn a BA degree in Cinema and Media Arts at Vanderbilt University, class of 2020. Dan found his home at Vandy as a member of the AEPi fraternity and treasured all of his brothers dearly. Elected captain of the Vanderbilt Men’s lacrosse team by his teammates, Dan pursued his love of the game and the camaraderie of a team sport.

Prior to Vandy, Dan attended the Noble and Greenough School where he enjoyed playing soccer and lacrosse and learned to skate at the age of 16 just so he could play hockey. Dan cherished the deep friendships he formed in life from Wellesley Montessori to Meadowbrook, Nobles and the world. He will carry these friendships forward in his heart.

He will be forever remembered for his love for his family, for his friends, for animals and for adventure.
