Dorothy Mary (Aquilino) Cosolito, 89, of Marlborough, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 4, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born in Newton, MA on March 27, 1932 to Michele and Anna (Bruno) Aquilino of Needham, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Theresa Aquilino of Weston, MA and her loving husband of 44 years, Frank B. Cosolito.
A resident of Wellesley, MA for 40 years, Dorothy and Frank lovingly raised their three children, all while working together running their family business, The Red Barn Nursery and the Copper Boot Gift Shop in Easton, MA. There she showcased her talent for gardening and floral design. After the death of her husband Frank, Dorothy relocated to Marlborough, MA where she embraced her community and her church.
Her true passion was spending time with her husband and family. She loved to host weekly Sunday dinners and all holidays. She was an excellent cook who embraced her Italian heritage creating wonderful dishes such as delicious homemade ravioli, meatballs and tomato gravy.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen and his wife Aubrey Cosolito of Wake Forest, NC, Leigh and her husband Harrison Crabtree of New Orleans, Christopher Cosolito of Greenville, NC, Frank and James Cosolito of Medfield, Charles Murphy of Holliston, Ashley Hill and her husband Jared of Framingham and Angela Crothers and her husband Matt of Ayer, as well as her five great grandchildren, Grant, Cameron, Callie, Lily and Mya. With heartfelt sympathy and caring prayers for you and your family. I have hope toward God, that there is going to be a resurrection (Acts 24:15). I know Dottie did also. I hope I'm am there when she awakes, especially if she is baking! May the gift of time and God's presence and love help bring healing through this time of loss. She will be missed, Leslie Biggar
