Bob was the embodiment of kindness, gentleness and generosity. Three generations of my family loved and respected him. My parents will forever be grateful for the kindness he showed them by keeping an eye on their only child when I first moved to #42 over 20 years ago. My husband will always remember Bob telling some of the funniest stories that he has ever heard, the kind that still make us laugh out loud just thinking about them; his uncanny memory for numbers; and the way he would save business articles for them to be discussed during their next visit. Our son will miss Bob's thoughtful questions about his sports teams, and fondly remembers all of the toy trucks he received as a little boy. I will remember Bob's warm smile, his charity work, his big "Helloooo" as he buzzed us in for a visit, the family photos he proudly displayed on the mantle, and his devotion to Janice. Bob was an angel on this earth and in our lives. God bless his family. -The Simms Family

Uncle Bob was very special to me. Over the past few years when he was living on ‘The Hill,’ he and I would have long conversations about everything. He so loved Matt and Mark, whom he and Janice raised since they were three years old. They were his ‘kids,’ always. He and I had a special bond, as I’m the oldest child of his brother, Jacques, who passed away in1976 at the age of 54. He loved my son, Jason, so very much and always asked about him and his family. Now he and Jason are in Heaven, sharing whatever they want. And, I am sure, that Uncle Bob is sharing Myette family secrets in his special way, ‘To make a long story short...’. He was and will remain the Best!! Rest In Peace, Uncle Bob. I miss our talks and laughter. Always. Susan Myette
