We lovingly - but maybe a little flippantly - called her "Annie". What I remember most were her greetings when you walked into the Rondina home. Her "hi!" was like she hadn't seen you in years even though you may have just seen her earlier that day. She had that way of making you feel welcome and special. She and her husband Joe/Ambrose raised a great family with whom I am happy to have had many special and great connections over the years. Annie has left a great legacy and has set a high bar for family matriarchy. I am certain that many of the Rondina women will follow in those huge footsteps. Rest in peace, Annie!

Mrs Rondina was like a second mother to me. When I was in church as a funeral director, she would walk by in the communion line, I would say "hi Ma" and she would put her hand on my shoulder as she walked by, making me remember the many moments of going to her house and calling for her son Alan to "go out and play". She used to tell me she was "proud" of me, which made me feel special because my mother was gone, and it was nice to have a mother's touch and someone to give you accolades for what you are doing in life. I hadn't seen her in a while, but I will miss her. Being at the Rondina house on a Sunday was a treat; the smell of Italian food now reminds me of their big Sunday dinners. Keeping you all in my prayers, Billy Hayes
