Kenneth Walter Haywood, 65, of Newton and Worcester, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2020.

My sincere condolences to the family. Kenny and I talked about a month ago. I am in shock. We saw each other a few years ago at my Aunt Christine's memorial. It had been about 50 years or so. Kenny was my 8th grade boyfriend. He loved the Lord and may we all find comfort in his dedication and faith.

Kenny was my classmate at Lawrence Academy. He was an outstanding athlete- especially in football. We were among a small group of black students who lived on campus- and, because of this, we were all very close. I am very sad to hear of his passing. Kenny was a good man, a good brother to know. He didn't make a lot of noise- but he made his presence known. Solid and stand up. We didn't see each other a lot over the years- but we were always glad when we did run into each other. With condolences to his wonderful family. God Bless.
