Robert O'Brien, 62, of South Boston, MA passed away on March 12, 2016. He was born in Newton, MA where he lived until 2009, a son of the late Paul L. and Helen (Featherston) O'Brien. He graduated from Newton High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Rousseau of Newton, MA and a brother, Richard of St. Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his brother Thomas of Falmouth, MA and his sister Paula Shepherd of Venice, FL. There will be a Memorial Service at Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16) WEST NEWTON, MA on Tuesday, March 22 at noon. Burial will immediately follow at the Newton Cemetery.
