Devoted mother of Robert F. and his wife Jacqueline of Hopkinton, Claire King of No. Andover, Richard and his wife Susan of Carlisle, Paul J. and his wife Sheila of Katy, TX, Gerard of Hudson, Thomas and his wife Debbie of Amherst, NH, Carol Walsh and her husband Kevin of Ashland. Dear sister of Sr. Patricia Cushing, CSJ of Ayer, Mary Ellen DeCoste of Norwell and the late Robert Cushing, Jr, and Natalie Bell. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Frances truly loved and cherished her family and friends. She had tremendous inner strength. Her love and her faith were unshakeable. She was compassionate, down to earth, easy to talk to and had a kind word for everyone. She had a great spirit, a light and fun sense of humor and a true loving zest for life. Frances had a full life and will be truly missed by her loving family. Frances's family wish to express their deepest gratitude to her caregivers Dottie, Philomene, Lucinda and the staff at the Carlyle House for their wonderful and compassionate care. Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Mass in St. Bernard Church, 1529 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West, Newton, MA, Tuesday, April 22, at 11:30 AM.
