Vreeland, Christopher L., 53, of Waltham MA, formerly of Parsippany NJ and Bethel CT, died unexpectedly December 21, 2013. Son of Henry W. of Hawley PA and the late Joan (Hemmer) Vreeland. Nephew of Sister Jean Hemmer of Convent Station NJ and the late Grace (Hemmer) Garrigan. Brother of Martha and husband Edward Friedman of Arlington MA. Brother of Amy and husband Hamid Tabatabaie and uncle of Ethan and Sophia Morgan of Newton MA. Calling hours Saturday January 4, 12-2 PM, memorial service at 2 PM. Chris was a dedicated volunteer for numerous organizations including the Dodgingtown Volunteer Fire Company, the American Red Cross, and Meals on Wheels.
