JEPSEN, Catherine R. “Cathy” of Newton, passed away on November 27, 2013. Cathy, daughter of the late William and Jessie (Macdonald) Jepsen, will be sorely missed by her siblings, William Jr. of Maryland, Laurie and her husband Richard Sonia of Newton, and Niels and his wife Joy of Colorado. She was a loving gift to her nieces and nephews. Cathy was a quintessential teacher to all her family and friends and left a lasting impact on her many Newton students. The Spirit of Life Community of which Cathy was a member, will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance on Monday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. The Community’s liturgy will be hosted by the Second Church in Newton, United Church of Christ, 60 Highland Street, West Newton.
