Obituary for David A. DiCarlo

David A.  DiCarlo
DiCarlo, David Andrew , 53, of Newton, MA passed away on March 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Diane (Marotta) DiCarlo; adoring father of Hunter Rose, Daniya Elizabeth, and Drea Lynn; cherished son of Josephine (Joan) (Boschetto) and the late David E. DiCarlo; treasured brother of Debra Mazzarella and her husband John of Naples, FL, and Dina Goodfriend and her husband Steven of Newton, MA; grandson of the late Dino and Josephine DiCarlo and Joseph and Louise Boschetto; fun-loving uncle of John and his wife Rebekah, Andrew, and David Mazzarella, Charles, Jared, Adrianne, and James Goodfriend, Alivia Hearon, and Giada and Seina Marotta; and great-uncle to Harley and Dahlia; loved by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. David was a respected contractor and carpenter. He graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School and Salem State University. David was a member of the National Lancers and Massachusetts Charitable Association. He found time to ride his Harley on many charitable rides. When David was not working, he could be found spending time with his family. David’s quick smile, bright wit, knack for a joke, and dancefloor style will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral from the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Saturday, March 24 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church in West Newton. Visiting hours Friday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment in Needham Cemetery, Needham, MA. David may be remembered with donations to the D.A.D Memorial Fund at Village Bank, 307 Auburn St., Auburndale, MA 02466
