Life Story for Guido DiGiandomenico

Guido DiGiandomenico of Natick, formerly of Wellesley, passed away in the Metro West Medical Center Leonard Morse Campus of Natick on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at the age of 98.
Mr. DiGiandomenico was the loving husband of 61 years to his late wife, Pasqua (Trubiano) DiGiandomenico who passed away in 2003. He was born and raised in Castiglione a Casauria, Italy to the late Raffaelle and Filomena (Salvatore) DiGiandomenico.
In 1935, at the age of 16 years old, he arrived in America and settled in Wellesley. He was a carpenter and Director of Maintenance at the Dana Hall School in Wellesley for over 40 years. Mr. DiGiandomenico prided himself in his workmanship and work ethic.
He was the loving father of Charles G. DiGiandomenico of Natick and his late wife Sandra and Richard DiGiandomenico and his wife Susan of Vero Beach, FL. He was the doting grandfather of Lisa Spencer and her husband Tom, Michele Argir and her husband Jim, Amy Kelley and her husband Tim, Charles S. DiGiandomenico and his wife Lauren, Gabriela Conklin and her husband Todd and Elena DiGiandomenico. He was the proud great grandfather of 9 great grandchildren and great great grandfather of 2 great great grandchildren and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. DiGiandomenico was predeceased by his siblings, Nicola DiGiandomenico, Mario DiGiandomenico, Americo DiGiandomenico and Elvira D’Angelo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul’s Church Wellesley on Monday August 21, 2017 at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 8:30-10:30AM prior to the Mass in the Henry J. Burke and Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St., Wellesley Hills. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org/donate
