James M. Russell of Natick (formerly of Wellesley) passed away on Sunday, June 25th. Son of the late Mary Louise & Michael Russell, he was raised in Mission Hill. A graduate of Mission Hill High School and Northeastern University, he enjoyed a long career at Boston Edison until his retirement. He leaves his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia (McLaughlin) Russell, and his devoted children, Mary-Elizabeth Meli and her husband, Stephen, of Boston; James Russell of Brooklyn; Maggie Russell of Boston; his grandson Conrad James Meli; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Maureen Murphy and Henry Russell. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29th at St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
