Devoted father of Mary-Lu Robillard and husband Tommy of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Karen Doherty of Plainville, Dale Ciccolo and husband Bob of Needham, Brenda Quaranto and husband Gero of Dedham, Debbie Colella and husband Tony of Newton, Patti Fay and husband John of Norwood, Timmy Ryan and wife Erica of Norfolk, Kelly Ryan of Wells, Maine, Matt Ryan of Watertown, Colin Ryan and wife Katrin of Glastonbury, CT., Britt Ryan of Bellingham and the late Jack Ryan, also loving grandfather of 27 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren. Dear brother of Edward Ryan of Portland, ME, Mary Thomas of Newton , and the late Anne Gilpatrick. Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St., Newton, Monday, December 19 at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Sunday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. Interment in Newton Cemetery.
