Bagley, Arthur E., 65, of Bridgewater, formerly of Newton, passed away at Sachem Nursing Home, East Bridgewater, Sept. 27, 2016. Born in Newton, MA on October 20, 1950. Arthur graduated from Newton North High School Trade School in 1968. He served in the U.S. Army from 1970 - 1972 as a specialist 4 in charge of weapons and munitions and was stationed in Germany. He worked for the House of Offset in Somerville for 20 years in the offset printing trade. Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and ordering take out food. He is survived by his sisters, Elaine Therrien and Laura Bagley of Bridgewater, Alan Bagley and Filipee Noreiga of Lowell and Richard Bagley, Jr. of Fall River. Also survived by his niece, Adrian Thierry and many cousins and friends. Funeral service in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Wednesday, October 5 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment in the Massachusetts Veteran's Cemetery in Bourne, MA. In Lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Arthur's memory to the Veteran's Organization of the donor's Choice.
