Pearl R. Meredith, of Newton, Massachusetts was born to the late Samuel and Violet Reynolds on Janurary 9, 1930 in Newton, Mass. She was the second oldest of seven children. Pearl entered the 'Gates of Heaven' on June 25, 2016. She attended the Newton School system and graduated from Newton High School. After graduating High School, she married the late Gadsen Meredith on Christmas Eve in 1948 and stayed married until Gadsens death in 1996. This delicate rose from the concrete began working at Gamewell for many years and then employed with GTE Sylvania in Needham, Mass. were she retired. Pearl and Gadsen married in 1948 and birthed six healthy children; Larke, Peter, Andrea, Valerie, Patricia and Karen. Unfortunately though, only three of the six are left to mourn her passing; Larke Meredith of Baltimore, Maryland, Patricia Meredith of Newton, Massachusetts and Karen Meredith of Norwood, Massachusetts. In addition to her own children, Pearl is survived by her brother Benjamin Reynolds of Stoughton, Mass. and her sister Brenda Butler of Atlanta, Georgia and two sister-in-laws, Betty Meredith of Brookline, Mass. and Maxine Reynolds of Stoughton, Mass. Her legacy will continue throughout her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of neices and nephews.
