Obituary for Naomi Ellen Regan-Omiccioli

Naomi E. Regan-Omiccioli, of Natick, formerly of Wellesley, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at the age of 56 after a 20 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Wellesley to the late Charles L. and Joan M. (Langevin) Regan, Naomi was a graduate of Wellesley High School, class of 1977. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College. Naomi met her future husband Michael in 1986. The couple married in October of 1988, and settled in Wellesley to raise their daughter Cameron.

Naomi worked as finance manager for both the Eastern Exclusives and Corcoran Jennison companies. After her retirement from the finance business, she fostered her love of the outdoors, gardening and landscape, building a landscape design business that served the Weston, Wellesley and Natick areas. Naomi strove for excellence and success in all of her endeavors.

Her love of gardening was second only to her love of dogs, specifically Dachshunds. Her most recent dog Nala, of whom she spoke often, brought her much joy. Naomi’s outgoing and gregarious personality will be remembered by her large community of friends and acquaintances.

Naomi drew on her personal strength, determination, and that of her family, through her battle with MS as she lost her mobility and the eventual loss of her ability to communicate.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Michael Omiccioli, and cherished daughter Cameron Omiccioli of Framingham. She is also survived by her sister, Dr. Rachel Boersma of Pepperell and was the devoted niece of Connie and the late Robert Langevin of Wellesley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 1 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Rd. Wellesley, followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Visiting hours Thursday evening from 3-7PM in the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington St. Wellesley Hills. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Naomi’s care facility and residence for the past 5 years, The Boston Home, 2049 Dorchester Ave. Boston, MA 02124.
