Tuscher, Mary A. (Allen) of Newtonville, died on January 3, 2016 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, MA. Born in East Orange, NJ in 1930, she was the widow of the late Vincent J. Tuscher, and the daughter of the late John F. and Alys (Stringer) Allen. She is survived by two sisters: Elizabeth M. (Allen) Gorski of Lakewood, NJ and Sydney A. (Allen) Bialobrezewski of Methuen, MA. she is also survived by 2 nieces and a nephew. A graduate of Newton High School, class of 1947, she attended Mt. Ida Junior College in Newton. She was employed as a quality control inspector with a local electronics firm until 1964 when she devoted herself to being a fulltime wife and homemaker. An enthusiastic gardener, reader and bird watcher, she love spending time at the beach. She also excelled at knitting sweaters for family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in the Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St., Newton Center, Wednesday, January 6 at 11:00 AM.
