Whitaker, Harry James, of Plymouth, MA, formerly of Wellesley, Newton and Las Vegas, age 79 on September 14. He was born in Paris, France. Harry is survived by his loving wife Joan (Shaw) Whitaker and daughter Mary Beth (Whitaker) and her husband Jon McIntyre. Harry is also remembered lovingly by his grandchildren Kelly and Sean McIntyre and many other cousins and friends. He was a proud employee of Filene’s Basement for 35 years retiring in 1994. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Harry’s life on Saturday November 1st at the Second Church in Newton at 4pm.
